For our second painter feature, we’ll be introducing David. Originating from Colombia, David has been with Encore for over four years and has 10+ years of experience in professional painting. Even before becoming a professional painter, when David worked in construction, he was always drawn to the aspect of painting. His previous experience with plaster, tiles, flooring, and drywall only made him even more prepared once he began painting.
David enjoys all facets of interior painting and his favourite projects to complete are large homes. Not only does David enjoy working on a large home for the simple fact that he gets to work with more of his amazing Encore team members, but he also loves seeing the transformation take place, and of course, the faces of the owners after the project is complete.
Being located in Toronto, for David, is very exciting. He enjoys everything about the city, and in particular, how diverse and friendly the people are. One piece of advice David would give to young home painters in Toronto is to always be prepared, organized, and polite. He also notes how important “paying attention to detail is; it’s a skill and mindset you must acquire if you want to be a successful painter.”
In his spare time, David enjoys working on cars, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and playing soccer.
